The Horny Horse is a bar concept design exploring an extremely kitsch, tongue-in-cheek approach to a Scottish-themed LGBTQ+ venue. The project reimagines the traditional Scottish bar through a bold, colourful and maximalist lens, updating familiar references into something more vibrant, inclusive and celebratory. The aim was to create a space that feels rooted in place while unapologetically fun and contemporary. For bars, pubs, cafés and other independent hospitality venues, this is the kind of approach that can turn an interior into part of the brand, not just somewhere to put tables and chairs. The result sits somewhere between Scottish pub culture, dopamine decor and full maximalist malarkey
