Blöck is a modular furniture system made from a self-developed hempcrete formula, designed and built as Harry’s final major university project. Combining 100% sustainable materials with bold colour and comic-book/Pop-Art inspired graphics, the project challenges the idea that eco-friendly design has to be understated. It reflects the AHD belief that sustainable design can still be loud, colourful, graphic and full of personality. The system is intended to be developed further for small-scale production once workshop facilities are in place.
