At Acid House Designs, we care about the bigger picture — not just how a space looks, but how it fits into the world. We believe creativity shouldn’t come at the cost of the planet or people. That’s why we try our best to make thoughtful, ethical decisions in our work.
We prioritise:
- Using reclaimed, reused, or low-impact materials
- Working with ethical, independent suppliers over big corporates
- Using eco-conscious web hosting
- Promoting long-lasting, characterful design over wasteful trends
- Being inclusive, affordable, and welcoming to all client types
- We’re not perfect — and we don’t pretend to be. Unless you’re off-grid in a moss-covered yurt foraging mushrooms and bathing in moonlight, perfection’s a myth. We’re just trying to do better than the average, without preaching.
We’ve got mixed feelings about social media. Most of the big names are run by people who behave more like Bond villains than tech CEOs — mining your data, spreading harmful content, and feeding addiction. Not exactly aligned with our values. We’re doing things differently:Actively building a presence on ethical alternatives:Still using Instagram and YouTube sparingly — for now — because let’s face it, people are still there.
